WHO THIS IS FOR
High-functioning, and quietly carrying something.
Most people who apply are performing well. What they carry is not visible in their calendar, title or results; it shows up in sleep, anger, numbness, avoidance, or an inability to be close to the people they love.
The intensive format exists because a demanding life does not leave room for weekly appointments, and because the most important material rarely surfaces in the first thirty minutes of an hour that ends at :50.
Clinical skill shaped by life beyond the therapy room.
EXPERIENCE AND PERSPECTIVE
Clinical range
EMDR and brainspotting Phase 1, Phase 2, and intensive training allow the method to follow the person rather than forcing the person into one protocol.
High-stakes context
Business ownership and real estate investment bring firsthand understanding of risk, negotiation, responsibility, and decisions that cannot simply be postponed.
The work supports a clearer nervous system, a more honest relationship, and practical change that can hold when the board meeting, flight, family decision, or ordinary Tuesday returns.
Lived endurance
Years centered on relationship dynamics and parenting a child with type 1 diabetes inform a grounded approach to uncertainty, vigilance, and staying connected under pressure.
Relationship depth
Imago-informed couples work helps reveal the pattern beneath the argument, so partners can address what keeps repeating instead of rehearsing positions.
HOW IT WORKS
A clear four-step path, from first call through follow-up.
01 15-minute consultation
A short, confidential call. You describe what brings you here; Christina tells you plainly whether the intensive format fits — no pressure, no obligation.
03 The intensive
Two to five reserved days of EMDR and trauma-informed work, paced with breaks, held by telehealth, in person anywhere in California, Arizona, Hawaii, or Nevada, or at a location arranged for you with additional travel costs.
02 Private Intake
A deeper private session to map history, goals and the shape of the work, and to design the days around what you actually need.
04 Follow up
Afterward, sessions to steady the gains, practical tools for the weeks that follow, and a referral or ongoing plan if continued support makes sense.
A QUIETER WAY TO BEGIN
Trauma-informed, EMDR-based, science-backed.
Christina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an MBA, working with professionals, first responders, entrepreneurs and couples navigating conflict, betrayal, PTSD, anxiety and intimacy concerns.
In the states where she is licensed — California, Arizona, Hawaii, and Nevada — this work is therapy. Outside those states, the same trauma-informed methods are offered as high-level consulting.
QUESTIONS
Private intensive questions
-
A trauma intensive is two to five focused days of private, trauma-informed therapy with a single client, using EMDR and attachment-focused work to resolve what weekly fifty-minute sessions keep reopening without finishing.
-
Private intensives run two, three, four or five days, with preparation before and an integration conversation afterward.
-
Individual trauma intensives start at $6,500 for two days, with multi-day formats priced above that. Investment is confirmed before anything is scheduled.
-
No. Many clients are high-functioning people who look fine from the outside and want to finish something old that still runs the show.
-
Christina is licensed in California, Arizona, Hawaii, and Nevada, and therapy — including telehealth and in-person intensives — takes place in those states; she resides in Redding, California. Elsewhere, she offers consulting using the same trauma-informed approach.
